The free breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The pool area was well maintained and a nice spot to relax. the hotel offered great city tours at affordable prices.
The room was not well maintained and needed updating. The air conditioning was extremely loud and either too hot or too cold.

The breakfast was fantastic! The pool was also great; however, the sun was hidden behind the hotel by late afternoon. Morning swimming was the best!
The layout of the hotel bar was not very inviting. We ate dinner there one night and the service was a little slow. Though the staff were all very friendly and helpful!

During my stay, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and its facilities. The breakfast provided a great variety of fresh and tasty options, and the staff was always attentive and friendly. Additionally, the hotel's location in front of the beach provided easy and convenient access to the sand and the ocean.
Was all great.

The size of the room as well s its cleanliness
I didn't like the hotel has no gym; the muic is too loud and the same Brazilian CD being played for over 5 days at the swimming pool; drinks at the swimming pool and at the room are overpriced, staff unable to speak English, wireless only t the lobby and not free.

The location was the best part of the stay. The staff makes this a five star hotel, but the place needs a major facelift.
No ambience at all. The breakfast area was dirty and the food was bad.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel. the exclusive amenities, such as the spa centre and the swimming pool, fulfilled all our needs. the entertainment options available were also impressive. the room was spacious and comfortable, with private facilities. the buffet breakfast was exceptional, and we enjoyed it in the bar/lounge area.
the sauna was not working well, and we were not able to use it.

The room was really good. Super comfortable and clean. The staff is great, a bit slow, but very polite, pacient and responsive. They provide towels for the pool and the beach.
The location is not the best if the idea is to enjoy a nearby beach. The beach by the hotel is not good.

Very easy to get from the airport by bus. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable and amazing views of the sea.
Wi-fi is free only at the hall. The wi-fi in the rooms is quite expensive.

The hotel is located by the ocean on a rocky cliff over the water, offering an excellent panoramic view. It is a fair walk to the Farol da Barra, but it is safe. Some guests were pleasantly surprised by their upgraded rooms, with clean and spacious accommodations.
Some parts of the hotel desperately need to be checked for health and safety, as the rails and pool furniture are broken which could lead to an accident.

Considering brazilian standard, the hotel has great cost-benefit relation. If u intend to visit salvador and u wanna stay within the citys limit, I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is old, yes, it need some kind of retrofit, yes, but this is the situation of most of brazilian hotels. Therefore othon place offers a comfortable space to get rest, and good service. It´s not the best, but it is excellent for its costs and other benefits.

I enjoyed tha large room with views over the ocean, although the furniture and decoration were not of a 5 star hote.
I was very disapointed with the hotel. This was not 5 star accommodation or even close to being such. The staff were the most disappointing element. They were completely not interested in providing a quality service, and appeared if they had been doing the job for a long time and that ther guests were unimportant. They did not even offer to carry our bags to the room. I had to ask. I left an item in the room and emailed the hotel to see if it had been recovered. They did not even reply.
